The Rt. Rev. Rayford B. High, Jr. ordained Tony Hiatt to the priesthood on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at St. Luke’s in the Meadow Episcopal Church, Fort Worth. The Rt. Rev. C. Wallis Ohl, Jr., retired bishop of Northwest Texas and former provisional bishop of Fort Worth, was the preacher.
The Rev. Hiatt was ordained a deacon on October 7, 2014, at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Worth by Bishop High. Hiatt graduated from Brite Divinity School with a Master of Arts in Theology and Ministry in May, 2014. He also completed additional formation for Episcopal ordination at the Iona School for Ministry in the Diocese of Texas.
There was a reception afterward in the parish hall.
