Hood County Christmas for Children volunteers will distribute toys to thousands of children on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Christmas for Children is one of the charities supported by the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Granbury. It serves the children of Hood County who might not get Christmas gifts otherwise. Children on the list come primarily from those on lunch assistance in the school system, supplemented by applications from Mission Granbury and other local agencies. Christmas Choral Offering presented by St. Elisabeth’s and Christ the King

St. Elisabeth’s and Christ the King presents their annual Christmas Choral Offering on Sunday, December 21 at 7:30pm. The event features a concert by the choir, joined by the congregation for some caroling, and a reception afterwards. “We have a wonderful choir,” said the Rev. Christmas Concert December 14 at All Saints’, Fort Worth

All Saints’ Episcopal Church, Fort Worth,  will present a Concert of Christmas Music at 5 pm Sunday, December 14, 2014. The program will feature harpist Yumiko Endo Schlaffer, Dallas Symphony violinist Andrew Schast,  and All Saints’ organist and choirmaster Frederick Grimes playing with the All Saints’ Choir and a chamber orchestra. Clergy invited to Chrism Mass – Good news for leaders

Tuesday of Holy Week (April 15) is the date of the diocese’s annual “mass of collegiality,” or “Chrism Mass,” and all clergy are cordially invited to attend. The mass, to be celebrated at St. Luke’s in the Meadow, 4301 Meadowbrook Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76103 will begin at 11am, with Bishop Rayford High preaching and presiding.
