Trip planned to see “The Promise” on October 4, 2013

A group from St. Luke in the Meadow Episcopal Church, 4301 Meadowbrook Drive, Fort Worth, 76103, is planning a trip to see “The Promise” in Glen Rose on Friday, October 4, 2013. Final reservations have to be made 30 days in advance, so the deadline is September 4. This is the 25th anniversary of the production.

The group will get a special discount and organizers hope to have enough people to rent a bus to transport people back and forth.

People interested in making the trip should call Larissa Allen at (817) 595-4870 for more information. Fees for the tickets and transportation are due by the time reservations are made.

The Rev. Susan Slaughter has seen both “The Passion” at Eureka Springs and “The Promise” in Glen Rose and felt “The Promise” was far superior.

“The music and images will be a blessing to you long after the performance,” she said.

UPDATE from 8:50 a.m. August 21, 2013

The bus will leave from St Luke’s at 5pm and expects to return around 11pm.  Box lunches are planned.
