Good Shepherd, Granbury, presents Hymn Fest

All are invited to the Sixth Annual Hymn Fest, presented by the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd at their new location, 4530 Acton Highway, Granbury, at 3 pm on Sunday,  November 17. The Hymn Fest, a sing-along, will be conducted by Dr. Iwoa Asakura and will feature solos by Dr. Heather Hawk. A reception will follow.

Godly Play orientation/training offered

Godly Play orientation and training will be offered from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 4530 Acton Highway, Granbury, 76049. On Sunday, June 7, 2015, the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Granbury, honored the Rev. Frank B. Reeves and Susan Reeves for their ministry with the congregation. Episcopalians support Hood County Christmas for Children

Hood County Christmas for Children volunteers will distribute toys to thousands of children on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Christmas for Children is one of the charities supported by the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Granbury. It serves the children of Hood County who might not get Christmas gifts otherwise. Children on the list come primarily from those on lunch assistance in the school system, supplemented by applications from Mission Granbury and other local agencies. Sunday. October 5, 2014, was a busy day in the diocese. In addition to all the regular Sunday worship services, three congregations welcomed new clergy, the  Episcopal Church of Hamilton County held an Open House, and the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Granbury hosted a Hymn Fest of Traditional Christian Hymns. The Rt. Rev. Rayford B. High, Jr., visited the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Granbury, on Sunday, June 29, 2014. Since it was the fifth Sunday of the month, the congregation brought food items for the local food bank. The pile of canned and dry goods grew steadily as people arrived for the service.
