Bishop Mayer celebrates, preaches, confirms

Bishop Scott Mayer visited the Episcopal Church of Hamilton County (St. Mary’s) on the Third Sunday of Advent, December 11, 2016. He celebrated, preached, and confirmed Ms. Mary Adcox. The Rev. Noy Sparks is supplying at Hamilton, having moved to Granbury to take care of his mother. He also serves as chaplain at All Saints Episcopal School in Fort Worth. Bishop High visits Hamilton County

On Sunday, May 3, Bishop Rayford B. High, Jr., visited the Episcopal Church of Hamilton County. He confirmed Brandi Marie Rogers, Elizabeth Page Rogers, Nathan Blake Rogers, Helen Francis Rogers, David William Powers, Jordyn Deahl Johnson, Dorothy Jean Buckner, and Billy Gene Buckner. He received Anthony L. Rogers into The Episcopal Church. Each of them was presented with a prayer book signed by the bishop. St. Mary’s, Hamilton, dedicates new building

On Sunday, May 11, St. Mary’s, Hamilton, dedicated their new building at 1101 S. Rice Street (Hwy. 281 S.).  The Rev.Canon Janet Waggoner celebrated and preached, assisted by the Rev. Robert Tarbet. The new building is a milestone in the growth of the Episcopal Church in Hamilton County. Canon Waggoner preached on Jesus: A Shepherd and a Gate. See more photos at the diocesan Flickr page.
