Finance committee drafting budget
By the end of July, the members of the diocese’s finance committee will be ready to present a proposed budget – to deaneries during the month of August, and to the executive council at its Sept. 28 meeting at All Saints, Fort Worth.

What has the diocese and the larger church done for your congregation lately? In June, all the clergy of the diocese were invited to meet with Bishop High, getting to know one another better and learning more about pension and health care benefits. Toni Marie Sutliff, regional rep from Church Pension Group, flew in to spend the day presenting information and fielding questions. She even did some problem-solving, as well. All Saints School provided their usual “above-and-beyond” hospitality.

The Rt. Rev. Robert O’Neill, tenth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado, will be the preacher at the Friday afternoon Eucharist of the 2013 Diocesan Convention on November 8, 2013. Advancing to General Convention 2015: “Greening and Screening”
Plans are well underway for the Episcopal Church’s General Convention in 2015, with noticeable adaptive changes to reducing the convention’s carbon footprint and to use software and technology to streamline legislative work. Noticeably, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and video monitors will be the primary media of legislative materials. This “convention of screens” will be made possible by a robust Wi-Fi system, which will be available for the first time on the floors of the House of Deputies and the House of Bishops.
