Funeral for St. Alban’s Jeph Abara January 28

After a long battle with cancer Jeph Abara, beloved member of St. Alban’s, Theatre Arlington, died December 27, 2016. A life-long runner, Abara in his later years organized races benefiting charities throughout Fort Worth and Arlington. The Rev. Bishop High to celebrate 50th anniversary of ordination

Bishop Rayford B. High, Jr., assisting bishop of Fort Worth, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood on the Feast of the Epiphany, January 6. High served as provisional bishop of the Diocese of Fort Worth from November 2012 to June 2015. Prior to that, he served as bishop suffragan of the Diocese of Texas from 2003-Spring 2012. The Rt. Rev. Jeff Fisher, Bishop Suffragan of the Diocese of Texas, will ordain Stephanie Moncrieff to the priesthood at 7 pm on Friday, January 13 at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Worth.
