Feeling stuck? Need fresh insights to jump-start your next initiative? Searching for answers to guide your congregation? Want to get to know other leaders in the diocese? Come to the diocesan leadership workshop on March 10, 9:30am-3:30pm at St. Christopher, 3550 SW Loop 820, Fort Worth.
Ministry leaders and rectors. Soon-to-be leaders, wardens, and priests in charge. Vestry members. Strategic thinkers and worker bees. All will find hope, practical insights, inspiration, and fellowship.
Bishop Wallis Ohl will be the keynoter and lead two workshop sessions – one for wardens, and one dealing with spiritual self-care, an important practice for all leaders. Members of the diocesan Communication Committee will preview their travelling road show about how to use the ministry of communication as an tool for growth and evangelism in your congregations. Members of the Communication Committee will be available throughout much of the day to answer questions. Chancellor Kathleen Wells will offer a workshop on strategies for steering clear of red flags and quicksand. Treasurer Bob Hicks will talk dollars and sense. And Ministry Developer Demi Prentiss will present practices for building and sustaining leadership teams.
Bring a team from your congregation. The $15 registration fee will cover lunch and materials.
