“The recognition is for Trinity Weekly News—our weekly e-newsletter. I emphasized that it’s an effective and engaging communication tool, with a good mix of original content and your standard church announcements. The ‘quick link’ menu at the top of each issue lets parishioners access the church calendar, giving portal, sermon podcast page and worship bulletins with a single click. Our average open rate stays at 45% or higher. It currently goes out to 492 subscribers,’ Martinez said.
“As a professional, self-supporting association, our goals are to:
- Strengthen the community
- Foster the development of communication expertise
- Serve as an advocate for the ministry of communications
- Provide a forum for discussion of communication issues
- Provide mutual support and fellowship.”
