Bishop Sam Hulsey will ordain Christopher Thomas to the priesthood at 7 pm. Thursday, May 17, 2018, on behalf of Bishop Scott Mayer, at St. Elisabeth and Christ the King Episcopal Church. Thomas served as deacon at St. Alban’s, worshiping in Theatre Arlington before moving to St. Elisabeth and Christ the King. St. Elisabeth/Christ the King Rummage Sale
St. Elisabeth/Christ the King, Fort Worth, is having a rummage sale on November 20, 21, at the church at 5910 Black Oak Lane, Fort Worth, TX 76114, to raise funds for an automated external defibrillator (AED). Hours are 9 am to 5 pm on Friday and 9 am to noon on Saturday. There also will be food for purchase at the event.

Bishop Scott Mayer visited St. Elisabeth/Christ the King Episcopal Church on Sunday, October 25. He confirmed Matthew Edward Moskal, Liam David Ruiz-Riquer, and Kiefer Thorne Wise. St. Elisabeth’s and Christ the King congregations in Fort Worth are inviting all soccer fans to join in a big-screen live-streaming watch-party for the World Cup finals, Sunday, July 13 starting at 1pm. The excitement will ramp up with the kickoff at 2pm, and food, drink, and games will be available throughout the party.
