Two parishes take on hard issues
Racism, refugees, sexism, politics — these topics can be hard to deal with. Two parishes in the diocese are tackling them, each in their own way. St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Keller, is participating in a Real Talks about Race Event from 3 to 5:30 pm. Sunday, April 28, 2019, in the small, west parish hall of St. Martin’s school building. Joan Blades, cofounder of Living Room Conversations, and John Gable, founder of AllSides, presented a TED talk recently about ways to get out of your bubble and get to know people who think differently than you do.
