In a service delayed nearly two years by the pandemic, the Rev. Robert Pace was installed as the 19th rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Worth, in a Celebration of New Ministry on Wednesday, October 6. The music under the direction of Music Director and Organist Debora Clark was outstanding, with choir, brass and timpani and a string quartet. Previous rectors John Stanley and Fred Barber were in attendance.
The Rt. Rev. Scott Mayer presided. The Rev. Mitch Tollett, a seminary classmate and long time friend of Pace’s, was the preacher.
The Rev. Canon. Janet Waggoner read the Letter of Institution from Bishop Mayer, which formally establishes Pace as rector.
