The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, Decatur, is embarking on the congregation’s first adult education series – a program called Revive. It is a curriculum from Forward Movement to “equip lay leaders to be spiritual leaders.” Over the next year there will be three sessions, each lasting six weeks, concluding with a retreat. There is no cost to participate. The Revive instructors will be Susy Sportsman, Janet Huff, and Judy Cariker.
The initial retreat will be on from 9am to 4:40pm on Saturday, April 27, 2019, with lunch provided at Resurrection. The first weekly session will be on Sunday, May 5, at 9 AM before the 10 AM service at Resurrection.
