St. Alban’s meeting at Theatre Arlington is sponsoring a Thursday, September 8, benefit performance of “Guys and Dolls.” Everyone is invited to attend. The event, an exclusive preview of the performance, will help support outreach programs such as those with Crow Elementary School and the Arlington Life Shelter.
The musical comedy portrays the underworld of Prohibition-era New York and features a talented local cast. The show is directed and choreographed by Brandon Mason, with music direction by Alex Vorse.
The evening will begin with a punch and appetizers reception at 6:30 p.m. Show time is 7:30 p.m. All seating is open except the front row, reserved for those with mobility challenges.
Since this is a preview performance bought out by St. Alban’s, tickets are purchased through the church rather than through the theatre’s website or box office. Last year’s exclusive preview of “Hello Dolly!” was a rousing success.
Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased in several ways:
- In person – See Dave Burrows after services at St. Alban’s on Sundays.
- By phone – Call the St. Alban’s church office at 817-264-3083. All calls will be returned.
- By mail – Write a check, made out to St. Alban’s, and put “Fundraiser” in the memo line. Send it to St. Alban’s Episcopal Church 316 W. Main St., Arlington, TX 76010. Include a note with your name, the number of tickets you’re ordering, and the total amount of the check.
- Online – Email the church office with your name, number of tickets, and the amount owed; you can pay online here using a PayPal account or credit card.
