Pre-diocesan convention deanery meetings set

Pre-diocesan convention deanery meetings have been scheduled in all deaneries of the diocese. The meetings are open to all interested people. All convention delegates are expected to attend the meeting in their deanery as part of their leadership role as delegates to the 2014 Diocesan Convention November 14-15 at the Jack Daniels Club at Globe Life Park in Arlington.

The proposed budget for 2015 will be presented at these meetings, as will all proposed changes to the canons and constitution as well as all other resolutions. Discussion, questions, and feedback are encouraged.

The Northern Deanery will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 25, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. Member churches are All Saints’, Wichita Falls;St. Stephen, Wichita Falls;Good Shepherd, Wichita Falls. These congregations are worshiping as The Episcopal Church of Wichita Falls..

The Southwestern Deanery will meet at 2:30 pm Sunday, October 26, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Stephenville. Member churches are  Good Shepherd, Granbury; St. Mary’s, Hamilton; St. Luke’s, Stephenville; All Saints’, Weatherford; St. Francis of Assisi, Willow Park.

The Fort Worth South Deanery will meet at 5:30 pm Tuesday, October 28, at St. Christopher Episcopal Church, Fort Worth. Member churches are St. Andrew’s, Fort Worth; St. Christopher, Fort Worth; St. Simon, Fort Worth; Trinity, Fort Worth; St. Mary, Hillsboro.

The Fort Worth West Deanery will meet at 5:30 pm Thursday, October 30, at All Saints’ Episcopal Church, Fort Worth. Member churches are All Saints’, Fort Worth; St. Elisabeth’s/Christ the King, Fort Worth; Church of the Holy Apostles, Fort Worth.

The Fort Worth East Deanery will meet at 7 pm Monday, November 3, at St. Luke’s in the Meadow Episcopal Church, Fort Worth. Member churches are  St. Alban’s, Arlington; St. Luke’s in the Meadow, Fort Worth; St. Stephen’s, Hurst; St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Keller.
