Nominations for diocesan positions, to be considered at the November 2012 Diocesan Convention, may be submitted through September 30. Anyone may nominate any qualified person for an appropriate position. Additionally, Bp. Ohl has requested that the bishop’s appointments and nominations be included in this process in order to assist in the bishop’s duties.
There are three categories of nominations for positions in the diocese:
- General nominations
- Bishop’s nominations
- Bishop’s Appointments
Although in the second two categories, the bishop will make the final decision, Bp. Ohl has requested that his nominations and appointments be included in this process to help him in his considerations.
Anyone may nominate a person, including himself or herself for any of the positions in any of the three categories. If you are nominating someone besides yourself however, be sure to secure that person’s permission before submitting a nomination. In addition to submitting a nomination form (see links to nomination forms on the right) a photograph is also required. It should be a “head shot” in either jpeg, tiff or png format. Email the photograph to webmaster@episcopaldiocesefortworth.org.
The Candidate will be emailed to confirm the nomination. If the candidate has not received an email within the week after the nomination has been submitted, please contact NominationsCommittee@EpiscopalDioceseFortWorth.org. A nomination will not be considered until all information requested has been provided. Direct all questions to NominationsCommittee@EpiscopalDioceseFortWorth.org. The deadline for submission is September 30.
