Diocesan youth to offer prayer room at convention
Diocesan youth will offer a prayer room adjacent to the floor of diocesan convention at All Saints Episcopal School November 11-12. The prayer room will be set up in the wrestling room in the school gym, site of the convention business sessions on Saturday, November 12. 4 Saints Food Pantry awarded grant
The 4 Saints Food Pantry, a start-up ministry conducted by the four parishes of the Fort Worth East Deanery, has been awarded a $20,000 Mission Enterprise Zone Grant from The Episcopal Church. It was one of several grants totaling $1,797,000 for church planting and Mission Enterprise Zones announced by the Executive Council of The Episcopal Church at its October meeting. Mission and Outreach Committee allocates funds
The Diocesan Mission and Outreach Committee has announced the allocation of grants for 2016 to help with programs that aid the homeless, care for orphans, provide medical care for lepers, feed the hungry, encourage literacy, and much more. In 2011 the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth voted to affirm the principal of the tithe.
