Men, women, and teens are invited to spend several hours of reflection on December 12 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in the Keller/Southlake area. Third module of Safeguarding course offered at Convention
Safeguarding God’s People – Preventing Sexual Harassment is the third module in the Safeguarding series. This course will be offered as a pre-convention educational opportunity for clergy and church leaders. In worship service on September 27, 2015, St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church formally instituted the Deborah Chapter of the Order of the Daughters of the King®, received members of the chapter and installed officers and a chaplain. Once again our nation is mourning victims of a mass shooting. Once again, the shooting was at a school, this time a community college in Oregon. According to news reports, this is the 45th time this year and the 142nd time since the December 14, 2012 Sandy Hook massacre that killed twenty 5 and 6-year-olds, that a gunman has opened fire in a school.
