The Installation of the Rt. Rev. Michael Bruce Curry as the 27th presiding bishop and primate of The Episcopal Church will be Sunday, November 1, 2015, with a vigil service on Saturday, October 31.
Curry was elected and confirmed at the 78th General Convention on June 27 in Salt Lake City. According to the Canons of The Episcopal Church, he assumes this role on November 1.

All are invited to join a Vigil Celebration and Eucharist, sponsored by the Union of Black Episcopalians in honor of the 27th presiding bishop on Saturday, October 31 from 10 am to 12 pm Central time (11 am to 1 pm Eastern time) at the Armory, 2001 E. Capital St. SE in Washington, DC.

Sunday, November 1
The Holy Eucharist with the Installation of the 27th presiding bishop will be Sunday, November 1 at 11 am Central time (noon Eastern time) at Washington National Cathedral. Tickets for this event were distributed by a lottery system.
The Washington National Cathedral does a live webcast of its Sunday morning Eucharist each week, and the Eucharist and installation service will also be available by live webcast from the cathedral’s website.
Update: The live webcast will be closed-captioned for the hearing-impaired. Pre-registration for the live webcast is not required. A downloadable service bulletin is available and the live webcast will be available on the General Convention website. The live webcast will also be available on YouTube.
Participating from the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth
Congregations in the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth are observing the celebration in different ways. For example, the Episcopal Church of Wichita Falls and St. Stephen’s, Hurst both plan to live stream the Eucharist and installation as their principal worship service on November 1, singing along with the hymns and celebrating the Eucharist at the same time as everyone at the cathedral.
