The Episcopal Church of North Texas Votes Unanimously to Reunite with The Episcopal Diocese of Texas
JUNE 18, 2022: The Episcopal Church in North Texas, (ECNTX) formerly the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth, today voted overwhelmingly to reunite with the Episcopal Diocese of Texas (EDOT). The vote was the sole business of a Special Meeting of Diocesan Convention at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Worth. The vote for reuniting was 69 to 0. Bishop Scott Mayer has issued a call for a Special Meeting of Diocesan Convention at 10 am Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Trinity Episcopal Church for the sole purpose of voting on reunification with the Episcopal Diocese of Texas. Read the letter. Read much more at Reunion2022.org

Registration for the 39th Annual Convention of The Episcopal Church in North Texas, which will be Saturday, November 13, 2021, via Zoom, opened September 14, 2021. There is no registration fee. Registration will close November 1, 2021. We will use the same voting system we did last year, which means delegates and clergy must register with the email they will use in voting. Register here.

Early Bird registration for diocesan convention ends October 1
Diocesan Convention is November 8 and 9 in Decatur. Early Bird rates are $50 for one day, $75 for two days and will be available until midnight, October 1. After October 1, registration is $65 for one day, $90 for two days. Registration includes afternoon snacks and dinner with wine on Friday; continential breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack on Saturday. Register and find more detailed information about convention.
