St. Christopher Episcopal Church in Fort Worth will host the third of three free stewardship telecasts at 7pm June 23. Nancy Davidge, editor of the Episcopal Church Foundation‘s Vital Practices blog, will present “Communicating Stewardship Year ‘Round.”
Davidge emphasizes spreading the story of each church in its own community as an essential practice. She offers examples of creative communication, including St. Alban’s in Theatre Arlington using videos and St. Mark’s San Antonio constructing access ramps for the handcapped. Her presentation was part of The Episcopal Network for Stewardship (TENS) annual conference Walking the Way held in Atlanta June 6-7.
All are welcome to attend the telecast, which can be viewed in St. Christopher’s Family Life Center. Beverages and light snacks will be provided, and attendees are welcome to bring a sack supper. A service of Holy Communion and Healing is offered at St. Christopher at 6:15pm, and all attending the telecast are welcome to come early for worship and stay for the TENS presentation. St. Christopher is located at 3550 SW Loop 820, Fort Worth, TX 76133.
