Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth receives prayers from Anglicans around the world

On August 19, 2014, the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth and our bishop, the Right Rev. Rayford B. High, Jr. are being prayed for by Anglicans around the globe through the Anglican Cycle of Prayer.

Dailyoffice.org offers Morning and Evening Prayer to Anglicans using the Book of Common Prayer of The Episcopal Church, and they include the Anglican Cycle of Prayer as part of their prayers. Their morning prayer service for August 19, 2014 asks prayers for our diocese and includes a photo of worship at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Keller/Southlake.

Praying continuously for the work of congregations, chaplaincies, ministers, and our brothers and sisters around the world reminds us we are part of a church that extends far beyond that which we can see and those whom we know.

The parishes and people of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth pray continuously for each other and for those who have separated from us. Resources for our diocesan cycle of prayer for weekdays and Sundays are available here.
