The Friday night entertainment at the 2013 Diocesan Convention November 8-9 in Wichita Falls was a hit. A trio from the Wichita Falls Youth Symphony Orchestra played classical music during dinner. Their presence was especially appreciated as they were missing the start of the high school football game between the cross town rivals, Old High and Ryder, in Wichita Falls.

After dinner, the Texas Quickstepper Cloggers performed. After doing four fast-paced numbers, they invited convention-goers onto the floor to teach them a dance called “the Cowboy Macarena.” An impressive number responded to the invitation, and resulted in everyone learning of hidden talents among the clergy and laity of our diocese. Who knew we had so many dancers?
