Double the impact with Episcopal Relief & Development’s Matching Gift Challenge 2014

Make an end-of-year gift to Episcopal Relief & Development and the impact of that contribution will be doubled, thanks to a group of very generous supporters who have pledged $750,000 in matching funds toward the 2014 Matching Gift Challenge. Between October 30 and December 31, gifts of any size – online, via mail or by phone – will be matched dollar-for-dollar as long as matching funds are available.

Gifts to any fund, including Episcopal Relief & Development’s Gifts for Life program, Episcopal Relief & Development’s alternative giving catalog, and monthly donations scheduled during the challenge period are eligible for matching. The matching amount will go to the 75th Anniversary Fund, which enables the organization to respond to needs where they are greatest. The overall fundraising goal of the 75-week-long celebration is to secure $7.5 million to support programs that touch the lives of more than 3 million people in nearly 40 countries, and support year-round efforts to alleviate hunger, promote health, create economic opportunities and respond to disasters.

Gift matching is automatically activated when a contribution is made to one of Episcopal Relief & Development’s listed funds.
