The Rt. Rev. Rayford B. High, Jr., newly elected third provisional bishop of the diocese, made his first parish visitation to St. Elisabeth’s Episcopal Church, 5910 Black Oak Lane, Fort Worth, 76110 (River Oaks). St. Elisabeth’s parishioners provided a generous reception for the bishop and Mrs. High, even though their parish hall is crammed full of crafts (most handmade by parishioners), books, and other items for the Book Sale and Bazaar 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, November 9, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, November 10. The Rev. Sandra Michels, priest in charge, presented Bishop High with one of the small metal crossed the parish is selling to raise funds for more improvements to the property. The bishop said it is the first thing he will hang on his wall in his office here.
