Constitution 2013
This version of the Constitution of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth was approved November 3, 2012 by vote of the Annual Convention of the Diocese and remained in effect until it was replaced by a new version on Nov. 15, 2015. Outreach at St. Christopher Fort Worth
In one week, the St. Christopher Mission, Outreach & Evangelism raised enough donations to purchase 66 new coats, one for each child currently residing at the Presbyterian Night Shelter. Each coat was purchased for a specific child, with sizes ranging from 3 months to medium women’s. Fall Lecture Series- Anglicanism: a Living Tradition
The Fall Lecture series on Anglicanism: a Living Tradition, sponsored by the Christian Education Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth, ended on Saturday, October 27, with a lecture entitled Where Do We Meet Christ (view video). All three lectures were presented by David Brockman, Ph.D. and Eleanor Brockman. HO HA HE, LE MITA COLA (Welcome, my friends) This beautiful quilt from the Diocese of South Dakota is going to be raffled at the 30th Diocesean Convention to be held in Stephenville, Tx., Nov 2 and 3. Update on Oral Arguments Before the Texas Supreme Court
On October 16, 2012 the Texas Supreme Court heard oral arguments in our diocesan case involving a faction of former leaders who broke ties with The Episcopal Church but continue to hold themselves out as leaders of the Episcopal Diocese with access to its historic property.
