Dr. Ed Waggoner was inaugurated as assistant professor of theology in the Rt. Rev. Sam B. Hulsey Chair in Episcopal Studies at Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Robert Carr Chapel. The annual Hopewallah-Hyderabad Leprosy Mission benefit will be from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013, in the parish hall at St. Christopher Episcopal Church, 3550 SW Loop 820, Fort Worth, TX, 76133. Enjoy wine and cheese while helping raise funds for this ministry in India supported by Dr. Andy Babbili, his family, and other members of the diocese. October 12-16 the Diocese of Fort Worth will host Bob Schorr, coordinator for congregational development for the Diocese of Texas. Schorr will tour Parker County, the Haslet area, and the Cleburne area, meeting with local leaders and offering insights on church planting.

Executive Council’s management workgroup meets October 17

The implementation of Canon 10 – adopted in November 2012 to re-frame the working structure of the diocesan executive council – was a major topic at the Sept. 28 meeting of executive council.
