St. Luke’s, Fort Worth, will celebrate 110-year-old organ with concert

St. Luke’s in the Meadow Episcopal Church, Fort Worth, will celebrate their 110-year-old pipe organ at 5 pm Sunday, October 20, with an organ recital.  The recital is free and open to the public. St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals and the environment. His Feast Day is October 4. Godly Play orientation/training offered

Godly Play orientation and training will be offered from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 4530 Acton Highway, Granbury, 76049. Early Bird registration for diocesan convention ends October 1

Diocesan Convention is November 8 and 9 in Decatur. Early Bird rates are $50 for one day, $75 for two days and will be available until midnight, October 1. After October 1, registration is $65 for one day, $90 for two days. Registration includes afternoon snacks and dinner with wine on Friday; continential breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack on Saturday. Presiding Bishop Michael Curry gave a 30-minute sermon at the opening Eucharist of the House of Bishops meeting in Minneapolis.
