The Rt. Rev. Sam Hulsey is hosting a book event featuring hospital chaplain and author Joan Paddock Maxwell, author of Soul Support: Spiritual Encounters at Life’s End. Her book is an up-close-and-personal look at the dying process, as Joan tells of her encounters with patients in their last days and hours of life, revealing the joys and sorrows expressed by these patients and their families. The book will be available at the event.
